The HUCSC is Huron's Student Government. With a budget of almost $200,000 a year and over 40 representatives, volunteers and staff who strive to enhance every Huron student's experience. We want you to apply to the HUCSC because the work we do is only possible with the hard work, effort and talent our members bring to their positions. Every year dozens of Huron students run or apply for an HUCSC position and in return, we give all our volunteers the guidance, resources and infrastructure they need to help make their vision of a better Huron a reality!
Whether you're interested in being elected to represent your constituents in Council's legislative body, creating, debating and voting on motions or whether you would prefer applying to a non-elected position as a Commissioner, you are bound to find something that interests you with so many choices. We have representatives for every residence, off-campus, year & program department and Commissioner positions that specialize in areas ranging from governance, finance, academics & university affairs, event-planning to policy writing, overseeing our clubs or athletic systems, managing our on-campus bar & retail outlet "The Beaver Dam" or managing our website and social media pages and many more!
