As students we understand that university isn’t all fun and games. From transitioning in first year to making big life decisions in your final year, we know that your physical, emotional, spiritual, and mental well-being can go through many ups and downs. The University of Western Ontario has gone out of its way to invest in resources that provide students the tools needed to cope with any barriers affecting their mental health. These resources are the best and most affordable available at the Western and Huron community. We are lucky that most of these resources are less than a 5 minute walk from the Huron Campus and encourage students to take advantage of them. One of the best ways to take a break and give your mind a rest is to get ACTIVE! This can range from sticking to a routine at the gym, joining a fitness class, or going for a trail run in the beautiful woods behind Huron. Western has a state of the art athletic facility that provides students with squash courts, basketball courts, ice rink an Olympic size pools, 2 floor weight gym, and much more!
