Multicultural Music Club

About:

The Multicultural Music Club aims to create a small community to gather people who love music and be willing to spread music cultures. Music can be an excellent way to interchange and converge different cultures; it helps people tolerate and understand each other. If people take in different music cultures, it is possible to help them broaden their views and improve their empathy so that they will have better social relationships. The main idea of this club is to create a multi-cultural music environment at Huron. Members can listen to, perform, record and learn from each other in this club. It will be a great chance to present members’ musical talents and improve their musical skills. 

Activities We Participate In:

• In-person DJ night

• Talent Show including staff and students at Huron

• Valentines’ night

• New year’s music event

• Potential collaboration with Volunteer Ya! for generation of funds for charity through live music playing
