Khrystel is a fourth year student pursuing a degree in Marketing and Sustainability. Throughout her time at Huron, she has been actively involved in student leadership, serving as a Student Orientation Leader, BMOS Student Representative, Associate Vice President of Social Media, Associate Vice President of Marketing and Promotions, and now Vice President Communications for the Huron University Student Council.

Beyond campus, Khrystel has worked in communications, marketing, and public relations across the nonprofit and innovation sectors. She supported internal and external communications at Pillar Nonprofit Network and led marketing initiatives at TechAlliance, where her work included campaign strategy, photography, videography, video editing, website design, public relations, podcast marketing, and event marketing.

Since 2021, she has worked in social media marketing for small businesses and freelance clients, helping organizations connect with their audiences through strategic and creative storytelling.

Khrystel is passionate about branding, content creation, and building meaningful connections. She enjoys finding creative ways to get people excited.

The comms portfolio is responsible for spreading awareness of HUCSC events and initiatives. The portfolio manages all HUCSC and Beaver Dam social media pages, the Beaver Tales newsletter, the MyHuron website, the annual yearbook, the Hearts of Huron initiative, and so much more!
