Keelan Koop is a third-year Honours Political Science student and serves as Vice President Student Events for the HUCSC. His journey in student events began in his first year as Entertainment Captain for the HK Relay for Life Committee. In his second year, he served as HK Relay for Life Chair, leading the planning of programming, events, and fundraising initiatives in support of Relay and the Canadian Cancer Society. Alongside an exceptional team, he helped organize and facilitate the largest and most successful HK Relay for Life event in the organization's history.

Outside of Huron, Keelan has worked as a lifeguard and Lifesaving Society leadership instructor and currently works as a greenskeeper at London Hunt and Country Club. In his free time, he enjoys learning to fly and is working toward earning his pilot licences. He is passionate about creating memorable experiences that bring people together and strengthen the communities around him.
