Jayden is a 4th year Political Science and English student. She started her student council journey in first year as an equity commissioner and hype team member, before becoming Equity Associate in her second year, where she promoted student services and hosted events to support various student groups on campus. She was also a tutor, Floor Don, and research assistant, which allowed her get to know a wide array of students and make strong connections. In her third year, she ran for Vice President Student Affairs, where she got to manage a team of dedicated students. This year, as president, she looks forward to working with students directly to make a positive impact.

The presidential portfolio provides the strategic oversight for student council. By collaborating with the other portfolios, the portfolio produces overarching initiatives and student support, fostering positive relationships between on and off campus stakeholders.
