February Advocacy Updates

  • Grants from the Nation Builder program have been made available to support future experiential learning opportunities. Grants will be given out based on application rather than whether or not the program has run experiential opportunities before to give smaller programs more opportunity.

  • Erin O’Toole has received an adjunct position with the Nation Builder program where he’ll help develop the program and identify potential funding partners.

  • Victor Thomas has been appointed the executive director of the Fairfax Centre for Free Enterprise where he’ll be developing an advisory group.

  • Huron has been given a gift of $500,000 that will be directed to supporting financial-aid.
